Product & use

What the tool is, who it's for, and the line it never crosses.

Who is the tool for?

Licensed agents approved by Meraz Health Insurance Agency. It is a working tool an agent uses during a client conversation — not a consumer shopping website.

What does the tool do?

It presents complicated Medicare plan information in one consistent, easy-to-understand structure — searchable, comparable side by side, with official source material within reach. Complex in, clear out.

Does it recommend a plan?

No. The tool organizes; the agent advises. It makes differences easy to see — recommendations come from the licensed agent, never from software.

How do agents use official sources with it?

Every plan keeps its official material close at hand. When a client asks “where does that number come from?”, the agent can go from the clear summary to the source without leaving the conversation.

Access & accounts

Accounts are created by Meraz — here's how that works.

How do I get access?

Through Help & Access. A Meraz administrator reviews every request and sends approved agents their account and login instructions. There is no public sign-up.

Can I see it before requesting access?

Yes — request a demo and a Meraz team member will walk you through the product on clearly marked sample data.

I can't log in — what should I do?

Use Help & Access and choose account & login help. An administrator will assist you directly.

Data & sources

Where plan information comes from, and what today's preview shows.

Where does the plan information come from?

The product is built around trusted Medicare and official carrier plan material. Today's preview shows clearly marked, fictional demo data; production plan information will move through the approved source-review process before publication.

Is Meraz connected to Medicare.gov, CMS or a carrier?

No. The Plan Comparison Tool is an independent product of Meraz Health Insurance Agency, built for its licensed agents — not affiliated with, connected to or endorsed by Medicare.gov, CMS or any carrier.

Which areas does it cover?

The tool focuses on the Southern California counties Meraz agents serve.
